What Is A Bariatric Surgeon?
A bariatric surgeon is a surgeon specializing in obesity treatment. Also called a bariatric doctor or bariatric physician, a bariatric surgeon offers surgical procedures to reduce the size of your stomach and the amount of calories absorbed from eating. This enables you to lose weight, keep it off, and reclaim your quality of life.*
We realize that there’s more to weight loss than surgery, and we retain a wide range of specialists to help you on every step of your journey. Before weight loss surgery, our comprehensive care team will meet with you to understand your unique psychological, social, and dietary needs. Our dieticians and counselors are some of the most experienced in the industry, with years working with patients like you.
Every Step of the Way
After bariatric surgery, our team works with you to craft a diet and exercise regime to help you keep the weight off and regain your quality of life.
One of the biggest hurdles that bariatric surgery patients face is gradually regaining their weight. Our dietician and counselors have years of experience working with patients so that doesn’t happen. They realize that weight loss is an ongoing journey, and they work with you every step of the way. The result is superior weight loss results and lower rates of weight return after surgery.
Our team has the skills and experience to help you every step of the way on your weight loss journey.
