At the Bariatric and Metabolic Center of Colorado, we have one of the most talented bariatric surgery and post-surgery weight loss teams in Colorado. Our surgeon, Dr. Joshua Long, is double-board-certified and has some of the lowest complication rates among bariatric surgeons*. He personally commits to not leaving the operating room until each weight loss surgery has been done as well as humanly possible*.
Our on-staff dietary and behavioral counselors have years of experience helping weight loss surgery patients to keep weight off and regain their quality of life. Before surgery, you’ll meet with each of our staff one-on-one so they can help you craft a personalized weight loss program. After bariatric surgery, we offer group classes to help patients learn to exercise in the right ways and eat a healthy diet moving forward.
Our team is your team, and we’ll work with you every step of the way.
We realize that there’s more to weight loss than just surgery, and we retain a wide range of specialists to help you on every step of your journey. Before weight loss surgery, our comprehensive care team will meet with you to understand your unique psychological, social, and dietary needs. Our dietitian and counselor are some of the most experienced in the industry, with years of working with patients to lose weight and keep it off*.
Every Step of the Way
After bariatric surgery, our team works with you to craft your diet and exercise regime to help you keep the weight off and regain your quality of life*. Dena Dobbs, our dietary counselor, works with patients in small groups to craft a healthy post-surgery diet.
